A singular path between Burgundy and Languedoc

Originally from Burgundy, Maxime Magnon trained with prominent figures such as Thierry Allemand (Cornas) and Philippe Valette (Mâcon). These strong influences shaped a simple yet demanding philosophy:
absolute respect for the vineyard,
minimal intervention in the cellar,
a commitment to expressing terroir above all else.

Captured by the wild beauty of the Corbières, he settled in the magnificient terroir of Vallée du Paradis, on limestone soils with Mediterranean character—ideal for producing fine, precise, and surprisingly refreshing wines for the region.

The vineyard: biodiversity and artisan work

Maxime Magnon cultivates around 14 hectares of vines aged 40 to 100 years, on shist and limestone soils.

  • Light or no tilling depending on the parcel
  • No herbicides or pesticides, only organic treatments
  • Manual harvesting, with extremely meticulous sorting
  • Preservation of old vines, essential for depth and complexity

This living approach to viticulture is found in every bottle: the wines have tension, purity, and an unexpected drinkability for southern France.

A unique style: precision, freshness, and emotion

In the cellar, Magnon vinifies naturally, with no additives, always aiming for finesse and balance:

  • Short macerations to preserve freshness
  • Native yeasts
  • Very low sulfur, or none depending on the vintage

His wines are never showy: they captivate with purity, balance, and silky texture.

Rozeta – AOC Corbières

His flagship cuvée, blending Carignan, Grenache, and Cinsault, Rozeta is energetic, juicy, and full of life.
A delicious red with remarkable depth.

La Bégou – White Wine

A blend centered around Grenache Gris and Grenache Blanc.
A southern white but surprisingly mineral and saline, reminiscent of certain elegant Burgundy whites.
